Story of a lost Convocation Certificate of Rajiv Gandhi university

Additional information

Story of a lost convocation

Anju Gauli completed her nursing and returned back to nepal, as convocation certificate is issued to students only after some months or year, Gauli was unable to receive the certificate as she was no in India. She has already reached Australia for continuing her further studies.

She had asked her friend to collect on her behalf. Her friend collected on her behalf from university. Even the friend who had collected her document had come to Australia but was not receiving the call and was ignoring her calls. Later she conveyed that she lost Gauli’s convocation and she really doesn’t know where it went.

Gauli was in great trouble as she had to submit the convocation certificate to her college in Australia, She had liked our page nepalese in bangalore news and came to know that we have been working on students document collection. So she contacted us, we assured her that we can solve her issue.

Bringing back her certificate was not that easy for us. We went to university number of times, but the procedure of lost certificate was too difficult. We even thought of giving reason as damaged certificate, but we need to present damaged certificate to the university, so that too didn’t work. We need to giving police complaint report to the university, and for that she herself need to give complaint report to bangalore police and no on behalf will wok for that, but as she was in Australia that too didn’t work.

We asked her to complaint a file in Australia, but there they had online system and she couldn’t give anything to us except some digit code so that too didn’t work.

We asked her to ask her parents to complain in nepal, and even to complain in nepal we need to publish in newspaper about the lost certificate. So doing all these things in nepal, we got the police complaint, notary, and news posted and sent all the originals to the bangalore representative.

And finally after gathering all these documents, we received duplicate convocation certificate after almost 5 months.

So always be careful when you are asking any one to collect your original documents.

And you can always count NIB for collecting your documents. Whatsapp or call us at our nepal’s number 9869178426

Nepali Restaurant in Bangalore

As I was walking through Koramangala 5th block I happened to see a name board which read as “Bamey’s A trip to Nepal” I was curious to know what it could so go inside to my surprise it was an Authentic Nepali Restaurant in Bangalore with wall paintings and frames with typical Nepali theme, Background Nepali song.
This is the story of a young entrepreneur Nikhil who came to Bangalore from Kathmandu to pursue Bachelors in Business Management at Jain University.nepali-restaurant-in-bangalore
When asked how did he start this Restaurant. He said he got mesmerized with the city, everything about it felt so big and grand and he had never thought of staying back or opening a business, once he was done with his degree. It was these days of being broke and no alternate source of income that made him explore, be adventurous, and look at opportunities to make money. In search of experience, he got his first internship in a startup company that was into corporate events and marketing.

First Month of Internship

In the first month of his internship, he worked for 8 to 10 hours a day. His work was to fold 300 to 500 promotional T-shirts. And deliver them in his scooter from one end of the city to another. He used to eat one meal a day, in the evening a tea and some buns. After weeks of hard work he received his first payment the envelope which had cheque, when opened it said Rs 3000 only. He still remembers how his eyes watered and his heart shrank. He still continued working for them and in a years’ time, they were paying Him Rs 20000 per month. These days of struggle made him realize his strengths and weakness.
“Being born and brought up in Kathmandu.

Momo: The go-to Food

Momos were always the go-to food and favorite street food. The aromas and taste of those hearty Jhol of momos in a run-down Bhatti still linger in my tongue.” He got disappointed with the momos he had here in Bangalore. They somehow didn’t taste like the ones back home. That’s when this thought arises if I ever get to do business here I will surely open a small momo cart or stall.

So he was done with college and started working full time in the same company. It was when coming back from an event in Delhi on Rajdhani train and then suddenly he started introspecting and realized that he was just 21 years old and had no responsibility on his shoulder he neither had wife nor people who depended on him. His parents are still young and healthy. That’s when it hit him that this period of life is when he can go all out and dare to do what he wanted to do that’s when “ the Marwadi inside him blossomed”.

After Reaching Bangalore

He reached Bangalore wrote a mail to his boss saying that I am quitting and packed my bags and went back home to Kathmandu. My parents were thrilled to see me and were also angry that he left his job. His dad asked him So what’s next? He didn’t really know what was next. His parents persisted in him doing an MBA and wanted to see him wear a suit and carry a briefcase to a swanky corporate office. But he knew if he does MBA he would be trapped for life, after investing in an MBA my parents would expect me to get a job, get the investment back, and then marry.

He wasn’t up for that. So he gathered the courage went to his dad and told him that, Dad if I do an MBA in a decent college in Bangalore you will have to invest 12 lakhs minimum. Then you will also have to help me with my monthly expenses. So I want you to give me 5 lakh rupees, the next two years of life. And I will also not ask you for my monthly expenses. I want to do my own MBA and he finally agreed.

Survival in The Retro

He started this retro in Oct. 2014 and it was a real struggle for a new Retro to survive in Bangalore, given the completion. He wouldn’t have survived it without the love and support of our Nepalese brothers and sisters. He has always treated his customers as Guests. And this helps to motivate his team to deliver better and be better than what we were yesterday. Regular customers and relationships have helped him grow.
When I asked about his vision. He believes that Nepalese Cuisine is underrated in the Global Food Market and wants to change that. His vision is to take Nepalese cuisine to the Global Platform. And give people the experience of how rich and flavorful Nepalese cuisine is.

This is the story of one of the Nepali Restaurant in Bangalore.

Following my dream to build my body: Inspiring story

Additional information

I started to follow my dream just a year ago and I am not sure how much I achieved but I am quite satisfied with what I have right now. One year before I was lean and thin and I used to get sarcastic node from some persons around me. While watching movies and star, I used to get jealous of their muscular body and always dreamt to make mine like theirs. It was a New Year eve, I should have some resolutions and I made my resolution to build my body. I committed myself and started following my dream. Yes, that moment, I decided to make myself something at least, better than I was.
I worked hard, I used to work for 3 hours a day in gym. I ate more, I spent nearly 20 thousands rupee each month just for food which includes eggs, chicken boiled, green vegetables, brown rice. I quit all my bad addictions which were toxic to my health. Than I realized, I am achieving my dream. Quite often, I tell lies to my family to borrow money to follow my dream, but now I feel, whatever I sacrificed, it was worth sacrificing.

“Saying GoodBye Forever”

Additional information

Almost all of my happiness depended on her actions and attitude towards me. Because at some point of life, we’re all at the whim of our feelings and emotions.

I turned something that was light-hearted and fun for her, into something that was bothering & irresponsible. She turned out to be a stranger whose whisper I could recognize anytime, anywhere.

Sometimes the sunset is just a sunset. Sometimes an idea is just an idea, Sometimes fun is just fun. Whether we feel joy or frustration toward a situation, it doesn’t have to progress into a glorious or horrible fantasy.

Majority of things can be left as it is and enjoyed (or not) with simplicity.

My Love experience taught me what it felt like to believe in fantasies. It was perfect and painful.

When you are hit by true love, its enormity can transform your reality in ways you wouldn’t dare imagine. It hit me like a tow truck and I lost more than good sense in the wake of our separation.

The last time we said goodbye, my will to move on was vanished and the surroundings around me suddenly disappeared, I could feel my system shutting down, cell by cell, my body rejecting its will to go on functioning without her.

I’d learned over the time that the rare occasions my mind and body would awaken were when her name blinked across my screen.

I hated that she had no emotions left for me.

She could just say nothing because she felt nothing while I could feel every punctuation I wanted to say to her creating periods and semi-colons in my heart.

I hated that she could end conversations without goodbyes while all my million words of farewell chased her, trying to lunge in for one final embrace but instead diminishing into nothingness, unheard, unsaid.

I didn’t want her to actually fall back in love with me. I only wanted her to see me as the person I had become and realized that I am now everything she wanted me to be when we were together.

When we were together, I always strove to become someone she would want to be with. she makes me want to be my best because she deserves the best?—I’d say.

Was I going to spend the rest of my life a little in love with someone who would never love me back?
She never understood me and she never would.

I realized that the answers I kept searching for weren’t to the question “Why did you leave me?” but to the question “Could you promise me I won’t regret moving on?”

We each have something that keeps us holding on to an old lover. A dream left unfulfilled, a fear of what could lay ahead if we let go, or sometimes a fear of what we leave behind if we let go.

“Saying GoodBye is Never Easy But At the end Of The Day, It’s Memories That Lasts Forever”

I’ll be back soon, but don’t wait upon me…
don’t ever wait upon anyone.”

Artificial Intelligence Might be Taking Over Your Dream Profession. Chose Your Career Wisely In 2018.

Artificial Intelligence & Automation
Additional information

With all the buzzes going around in the world for Artificial Intelligence, It’s no surprise that ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE GONNA BE THE BIGGEST THING IN 2018 and we are going to see some breakthrough Artificial intelligence invention in the coming years.

AI has proved to be one of the greatest achievement in the past decade and it has completely changes the way we thought about technology.

According to Wikipedia, “AI research is defined as the study of “intelligent agents”: any device that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chance of success at some goal. Colloquially, the term “artificial intelligence” is applied when a machine mimics “cognitive” functions that humans associate with other human minds, such as “learning” and “problem solving”.

In general terms, AI is a way of making a computer, a computer-controlled robot, or a software think intelligently, in the similar manner the intelligent humans think.

Since its invention , AI has been dominating in the field of gaming, natural language processing, expert system, vision system , speech recognition, Handwriting recognition, intelligent robots and many more.,/p>

While Amazon has already shown interest in online delivery via drones and Uber excited about their upcoming driverless cars, there is no surprise that AI will be soon taking some of the Human jobs in terms of higher capability and lower risks.

Artificial Intelligence and robots are causing a lot of controversial discussions these days. A lot of technology experts believe that artificial intelligence has the potential to change the world. But at the same time, those same experts don’t agree on what kind of impact this changes will have on the average person.

Many believe that people will be much better off with the help of advanced AI systems, while others think it will lead to our inevitable downfall.

Having that much said, Let me list out the sectors that might be automated by Ai in near future:

Labors:

Labors are the ones who are at the highest risks. A programmed robot can perform a task 24/7 under the worst condition which become for Impossible for human beings because of Physical limitations.

Ex:

A robot can work day and night under ocean or oil exploration plant with surrounding temperature being more than 80 degree celcius. Moreover, A robot doesn’t get tired like we humans do. So, It is more likely to take over labors jobs in the near future.

Drivers:

This might be the job in the highest risk though. When big players like Amazon and Uber are doing their best to dive in for the driverless cars and drone delivery system, one can imagine drivers are not the type of job that you will get to see in the coming years.

Web Designers:

With so many Artificial Intelligence powered designing software, One can be easily to design websites and other digital things without the hassle of learning programming.

.

All you need to do is drag & drop. With such technological advancement, it’s not so long way that non-tech guy will be able to design his own websites with little to no training.

One example of such AI program is Pagevamp.

Pagevamp connects with your Facebook Page, pulls all of your information, photos and videos, to automatically build a beautiful website in seconds. No technical skills necessary! However, Pagevamp has not proved to be a success due to many drawbacks over regular website but still you can expert such softwares soon in the market.

Fast food cook:

In a news published at recode.net, Sushi restaurants have been using machines to roll rice in nori for years, an otherwise monotonous and time-consuming task. The company Suzuka has robots that help assemble thousands of pieces of sushi an hour. In Mountain View, Calif., the startup Zume is trying to disrupt pizza with a pie-making machine. In Shanghai, there’s a robot that makes ramen, and some cruise ships now mix drinks with bartending machines.

Andy Puzder, the CEO of the fast-food chains Carl’s Jr says, “unlike human workers, robots are “always polite, they always upsell, they never take a vacation, they never show up late, there’s never a slip-and-fall, or an age, sex, or race discrimination case.”

With New Burger Robot Taking Command of the Grill in 50 Fast Food Restaurants, you can imagine the future of human cooks.

Robot Kitchen

Loan officer & cashier:

With the advancement of AI softwares, computers can now predict, analyse and process every loan related things faster and more conveniently than human beings. cashier, on the other hand will become of no use with the development of digital wallet and cryptocurrencies.

Besides these, Some other professions that are at the highest risk because of AI includes:

1) Telemarketers:

With the rise of robotic capacity, A Telemarketer will no longer be needed in the near future. Since, AI lack empathy, emotions and all other human weaknesses; It could be the best fit for the Telemarketing automation

2) Receptionists:

Robots have been replacing receptionists over last couple of years. From Robot receptionists introduced at hospitals in Belgium to robots deployed at the front door of departmental stores and star hotels for entertainment and information, You can expect the downfall of receptionist job by 2022.

3) Couriers:

With Amazon on the verge of bringing Drone delivery system in their largest online marketplace, the courier automation is not far away.

4) Proofreaders:

Proofreading software can be found everywhere these days. From Microsoft Word’s simple spelling and grammar check to Grammarly and Hemingway App, there are a lot of technologies out there that make it easy to self-check your own writing.

5) Computer Support Specialists:

with so much content on the internet with informations, instructions, step-by-step guides, and hacks out there, it’s no surprise companies will rely more heavily on bots and automation to answer support questions from employees and customers in the future.

6) Market Research Analysts:

Market research analysts play a tremendous role in the development of messaging, content, and products, but automated Artificial intelligence and surveys can compile this information more and more easily.

We can cite the example from GrowthBot, which can conduct market research on nearby businesses and competitors with a simple Slack command. Isn’t that amazing?

So, why would company hire a human being when they can get job automated by AI with greater accuracy and lesser time.

7) Advertising Salespeople:

Gone are the days, when the advertisements had to be done buy real human beings on TVs, Ads, and commercials.

After shifting towards web and social media landscapes, people simply don’t need to be managing those sales for marketers who want to buy ad space.

More social media platforms are making it easy for people to buy space through free application program interfaces (APIs) and self-serve ad marketplaces to remove the salesperson and make it faster and easier for users to make money.

Conclusion:

Robot’s don’t make people jobless, people do.

Robots generally tend to take over a task done by a human being, and do it better, cheaper, faster. This results in a profit, however, the challenge that robots bring is within the greed of management and business owners.

Unfortunately we will often see cases where the jobs are simply eliminated to boost profits/pockets. But, to remain optimistic, let’s hope that in most cases the displaced
human resources get to work on something easier or more stimulating and possibly get a better compensation as a direct result of using robots.

Peter Theil In his book, Zero to One writes,”Machines have and would continue to master computation but shall never get the judgmental capacity of a human. That’s why machines and Human should hold hands to resolve world problems”

Let us know what you think about it or if we have missed any point in the comment section below.

An ode to Bangalore

Additional information

Life can become a little hard when you move into a new place that is completely unknown to you. Without wasting your precious time, I would like to tell you guys I belong from Nepal, a country filled with lustful beauty and breathtaking scenarios. Currently, due to my own personal and somehow unnatural reasons, I have been forced to live in an overseas country far away from my homeland. To be specific, I am in India, currently living in the city of Bangalore.
Living in a place away from your homeland can be both exciting, at the same moment, terrifying too. With new place come new challenges which one cannot ignore. At first, it might seem hard for you to face such obstructions occurring in your day to day life but later, you start to get the hang of it and realize life is not all that bad. Trust me when I say, Bangalore is my favorite city but there are different situations I faced during my 7 years stay in the city. If only I would have known earlier, I could have avoided the situation. With this article, I would like to elaborate with some of the difficulties and challenges that you might face while coming in contact with this hi-tech city of Bangalore and how to tackle with those problems that you might have to go through in this vast city.
The first and the biggest problem that you are going to face after moving to this city is of language. When I say language problem, I am not talking about communication problem. Out of 100, more than 95% of educated people live in here. So the problem is definitely not related to communication. The kind of problem which I am talking about is of the troubles that you might get into for not knowing the local language which is famously spoken in most of the areas of this city. Because of your accent, there is a high chance of you falling into the target zone of the auto drivers who are always eager to manipulate you and make more money from you as much as possible. So be aware. No matter what you do, never ever think of getting inside an auto for a ride. Book an uber or ola cabs, they are quite popular in Bangalore. They offer you the better price cheaper well. You can also use public transportation as well as they are fast, cheap and reliable. If you coming from the airport and you are traveling by ola or uber, they might trick you into paying the road toll but don’t. It is already included in the fare.
Roooms?
The second problem that you might face here would probably be about finding a place to crash into and spend your night. For that problem of yours, here is a simple solution to it. Just surf the Internet and download some hotel applications such as OYO, Make My Trip, etc that shall provide you with some info regarding the hotel charges. For your convenience, it’s better to book a hotel room nearest from the airport in advance. In case you find the hotel charges a little too expensive, just change your hotel or find a cheaper lodge for yourself on the next following day in a different location depending on your afford level.
MOBILE SIM?
After completing these basic tasks, the next tough thing is to get a mobile SIM card. When you are traveling on a different city apart from your hometown, communication becomes a necessity. For that, just go to a well-known mobile showroom who is the dealers of some reputed mobile company brands such as IDEA, TATA DOCOMO, AIRCEL, AIRTEL, etc. Just go there and apply for a SIM card using your passport or some kind of your ID like your driving license. It might take 2-3 days to get your brand new SIM card. JIO sim is new hype in India and will actually help you to save some money on calls and internet. If you want to make calls overseas better check on the internet which network provide you cheap rates and make a decision. It might actually help you to save a lot. At present SIM needs aadhar card, so you may get into trouble. In this case, you can borrow the SIM card from known person, or, you can contact Nepalese staying in Bangalore through Nepalese in Bangalore group. Aadhar card and pan card making process is included in this website as well.
In case you want to minimize your traveling cost while you are in Bangalore, I suggest you to start using bus facilities more often as they are rather cheap. In Bangalore, more than 70% population of this city prefers to use bus compared to other modes of transportation. In case you are searching for something that can travel fast, you can’t miss metro trains. However, don’t cover the entire city, but it is reasonable and accessible in major part of city. You can do multiple take, like Bus-Metro-Bus or any of the combination.
How to stay in Bangalore?
Each year, people from different places migrate to Bangalore and settle down in here. They move in here either for work or for educational purpose and extend their stay for around four to five years or maybe more. If you also fall under this category, here are some tips to ease your problems a little bit and help you in settling down in Bangalore with less trouble as I am pretty sure you are going to face it in the future in case you happen to be an outsider just like me.
If you are planning to do so, there are two ways for you to do it. One way to do so is to live in a PG. In Bangalore, you can find affordable PG’s made for both girls and boys. The deposit amount for such PG ranges from IRS. 2500-5000, depending on the locality where you are locating yourself, with monthly average rent starting from IRs 4000/- excluding food and IRS.5000/- including food. The cost will be above IRs 5000.
The good thing about PG is they are cheap and affordable. Now comes the hard part. In PG, depending on how many people are going to share the same room, these rooms are mostly labeled as 2-Share,3-Share and 4-Share rooms. Now, the harsh reality you need to face is the room size that remains the same for all these rooms. The only thing that you are going to find different in all these rooms is going to be the number of beds and the price range depending on the room that you plan to shift into. For example, if you are planning to live in a 2-Share room, it will have two beds with a price of IRS. 4000/- for you to pay for your bed and stay. Similarly, a 3-Share Room will consist of 3 beds with a price of IRs 3500/- for you to pay for your bed and stay. But the price may go above 5000/- as well based on the locality and food menu.
Privacy is something that you won’t come along with this PG package. Everything that you possess, including your very most private conversation and your personal belongings that you are very fond of, gets shared inside the PG room, willingly or unwillingly. In the worst case, your valuable belongings might get stolen too as most of these PGs are not well equipped with the separate locker. In case you have included food with your stays, you might regret it later as it is not going to be as tastier as you used to have in your home. Even if you have optioned out for food, it might result in some kind of health issues later on as the street food or any other food that you are going to have or bring from outside inside your PG room is not going to be a healthier choice.
The second option is definitely to get a room in Bangalore but it’s not that simple. First of all, even a 1 RK (1 Room with Kitchen Attached) Room demands a minimum deposit amount of around INR 20000-40000, depending upon if the room is unfurnished, semi-furnished or fully furnished, with monthly rent ranging from IRS.2500 – 4500 in average. To be on the safer side, never hand over your deposit money to the house owner unless the rent agreement papers have been signed by the house owner right in front of your eyes.
Getting a room in Bangalore is not a problem. The problem arises once you get the room as the house owner starts creating a fuss over very small matters. You may compromise for some time. Later on, they literally start to become the headache of your lifetime. That’s why always try to find a room in such building whose house owner lives somewhere else, far away from where your room is located. By doing so, you get to have your privacy as well as peace in your everyday life.
To protect you furthermore, let me give you a free advice. When it comes to your deposit money, never trust your house owner with it. When the time shall come for you to leave Bangalore and return to your hometown, there is no guarantee if your house owner will hand over that deposit money of yours in your hand as they usually don’t like returning it back. So to protect yourself from such fraudulent acts, just inform your house owner to start deducting the rent money from your deposit amount five to six months before your deadline.

How to crack student visa in kangaroo Land (Australia)

Additional information
Maybe it’s the wave of age,
Maybe it’s the demand of trend,
Like birds fly in the sky,
I want to fly with dreams in the eyes,
Not with the Airways, not with the booze,
I want to fly to the kangaroos.

Seems like a fiction story by the title, but it ain’t one. It’s about the trend, the trend to fly with Kangaroos, the trend to fly to Australia.

With the farewell to my graduation, I was hit by a storm, a storm taking all young aspirants to the land of kangaroo. It was like a magic spell, everyone following their dreams to fly to the Aussie land.

I wanted to fly as well. But then reality hit me hard. I was new to this. I was unaware about what I should pursue to fly. And, instantly, I was surrounded by the web of advices. Random people with random thoughts shared their experiences, their assumption and whatever they could. I was soon lost in the web of uncertainties.

Then, there I decided to give the consultancies in Kathmandu a visit. I went through the areas of Putalisadak, Bagbazar, Kupandole, Maharajgunj and everywhere I could. Afterall, you have to play it safe, you have to listen to what each of them say and how authentic it is. I met with counsellors here and there and talking to them was as soothing as it gets. They really can sell themselves.

Here, I am simplifying the general procedures for many young aspirants who find Australia intriguing but also are seeking directions in the web of visa technicalities. These are only for those attempting to crack a student visa.

There are 3 phases for approval of Visa:

Phase I Offer Letter

Copy of each pages of your passport and few passport size photos is a must. You should submit your academics certificates. It should range from your SLC certificates, your +2 transcripts and mark sheets of each semester alongside transcripts (only for graduates).

You should also submit your English proficiency in the form of IELTS report form or PTE report form or TOEFL report form. IELTS and PTE are the major ones. IELTS score of 6.0 or more has high chances of grant of offer letter. You should also submit a “Statement of Purpose” as to why Australia, why the particular state, why the particular university and why the particular courses. A hand-written SOP is better.

A resume is to be sent as well.

Work Experiences and marriage certificates shall be submitted if applicable. The university, you applied for, assesses your documents and sends you offer letter within 1-6 weeks. You receive a letter of acceptance alongside offer letter which is to be sent with GTE.

Phase II GTE
This is the most important process. GTE stands for Genuine Temporary Entrant.

You have to show that you have an intent of staying there temporarily and returning after your limited stay. To prove this, you have to show your circumstances in Nepal, your probable circumstances in Australia and family conditions which suggest that you will be back and won’t stay in Australia permanently. GTE should be handwritten.

Alongside, you have to show your financial capacity. You have to show your funding, enough to cover your stay in Australia for 12 months including your travel tickets and university fees.

Funding can be shown via loan or savings. If you opt for savings, you should submit 3 months statements showing required average balance in savings accounts. For loan, you have to show your loan approval letter and loan statements. To substantiate loan, you have to show title of ownership of property, property valuation and income sources of your sponsor (generally parents in our case). Loan can be obtained from any “A” listed bank in Nepal.
These documents are sent to your university.

They assess your GTE and financial requirements, and upon being satisfied issue a Certificate of Enrolment. Then you pay your university fees and premium for Overseas Health Insurance (OSHC) for full duration of visa.
After university confirms receipt of fees, you opt for visa application. You should also complete your health check-up and biometrics requirements.

Phase III Visa Application
You apply for visa application and upon completion of assessment, you are issued Student Visa sub-class 500. After all these, you should get a NOC from Education Ministry, Kesharmahal and book your tickets to fly with Kangaroos.

Hope this helped. I generalised the procedures. Hope you can be the “Harry Porter” in this magical spell. 😀

Top 9 Pro Tips To Pass The Nursing License Test In The First Attempt

Additional information

Nursing is one of the most important sectors in the healthcare industry. It has grown to be one of the prominent profession in the society. A nurse plays an important role in the development of Healthcare & thus contribute to the whole nation.

In the context of Nepal, The condition of Nursing education is so narrow & pathetic. Many students move to India and other countries for their higher education. This is mainly because of lack of enough colleges, high competition & fees, degraded education system & many more.

But at the end of the day, You need to take the Nursing License test in order to register yourself as a Nurse here.

There are multiple advantages of having this License.

Some of those advantages include:

  • 1. You can be recognized as a registered Nurse once you pass the test
  • 2. You can apply for the Practice once you are a Licensed Nurse. Otherwise, It’s quite difficult to get job or practice in Nepal without a License
  • 3. You can even apply for abroad job or study once you clear the license test.

This year, only 40% of the total enrolled students have been able to clear the License test IN Nepal. This can sound quite dramatic but that’s the truth.

The reasons could be many but some of the considerable reasons are:

  • 1. Lack of Practical education.
  • 2. Lack of proper resources.
  • 3. Poor Guidance
  • 4. Lack of Mentorship.
  • 5. Variation in the syllabus in case of students studied abroad.
  • 6. Tweak in License Exam Module.
  • 7. Lack of Consistency & Motivation.

Some Personal negative skills for failure are:

  • a) A weak knowledge base,
  • b) Poor test-question analyzing skills, and
  • c) A cognitive style that tilts more toward global (field-dependent) rather than analytical (field-independent).

Well, You can’t deny the fact that any students who have completed their Nursing education must have gone through years of Study, hard work, pressure, dedication, and dreams.

Each of them has the potentiality to do something but Many of them stuck during the license test these days. Sorry Folks, I am not being Judgemental here but I am just tryna draw your attention towards this issue that many students are facing these days.

First Try is Important
NNC Success Secret

Although you are allowed to take the NNC Examination as many times as you wish, NNC’s statistics also show that difficulties do emerge for nursing candidates who don’t pass the test on their first try.

Out of all those Optimistic nurses who fail the test first time, just over 50% of Nepal educated students succeed on passing when they take the NNC again, and the success rate is even lower for repeat test takers who are educated outside Nepal

As I said, there are multiple reasons behind this but every problem comes with a solution. I Personally think it is not actually that hard, and I wouldn’t recommend stressing out about it. Calm yourself. The NNC is not the make-or-break monster it’s made out to be.

Having this much said, I am gonna share the top 9 Pro tips to prepare for your nursing license exam and bang the test in the very 1st attempt. So, Here’s all you need to prepare for the test:

  • 1) Plan a study schedule six months in advance of the NNC exam and organize your study strategy.
  • 2) Take one of the commercial Nursing Preparation course and bone up in your weak areas. Study these more carefully.
  • 3) Set a timeline for your study.
  • 4) Create lists, pictures, diagrams or flash cards of main topics from the outline. Pictures are worth a thousand words when learning the material.
  • 5) Answer lots and lots of practice questions (“I had known a nursing teacher that would say that until you’ve answered five-thousand questions then you aren’t yet prepared to take the NNC.”)
  • 6) Practice test taking skills by taking online Nursing test questions in the multiple choice format over and over on a computer. If one wants to pass the exam, This step is critical in preparing for the NNC exam. Review the NNC Test Plan, because it shows examples of all the types of multiple-choice questions.
  • 7) Always be willing to learn more. Many students think their knowledge base is adequate, only to find during the tutoring process it is not.
  • 8) Be Consistent
  • 9) During the exam, read the multiple choice question first prior to viewing the answer; then preview the answers and choose your response. Guess if you do not know the answer as no penalty exists. Carefully read the questions as it prevents wrong answers at least.

So, These were the Top 9 Pro tips for preparing your Nursing license tests. Let me know your thoughts about it in the comment section. Your valuable edits & suggestions are always welcome.

DARKSIDE

Additional information

I’m not exactly who you think I’m
I’m a villain, I’m a beast
I walk beyond your beat
I can dance, I can cry,
I can sing you a lullaby

Everyone has a darkside,
I too do
Burst into tears for what I do.

Dark within, depth that holds
Drags me in & throws on floor
I can’t lift, I can’t move
Another inch & I’m left on toe

This part of me, makes you hate me
This part of me, makes me hate myself
Alone in the room,
I cry my heart out
Ensure thyself, it’ll be over, soon by now

Soon by time, when you’ll run away
Soon, to make my part dark in your life

But, darling, if you show me your darkside
I’ll still hold on
& lighten all shaded parts of you in me

For you, I’ll be there on the edge of time
I’m no scared of dark
So on your worst in you,
Yes, I’ll hold you tight

I’ll give you rays I’ve in me
‘Cause know how it feels
To have that darkside in you,
With no-one to heal,
With no-one to heal!

ALL YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE ‘DEADLY’ BLUE WHALE CHALLENGE

Additional information

The Blue Whale challenge is occupying more mind space than any other online game in recent memory. So what exactly is it? We take you on a deep dive.
Let us get straight to the point. First of all, unlike what most people think, it is not a downloadable game, app or software .

INVENTOR: The Blue Whale killer challenge was developed by a Russian psychology student, Philipp Budeikin. He was expelled from his university and said in a statement that he invented the game to ‘clean’ the society of people who are of no value.

Another 17-year old Russian girl has been detained recently as she is accused of being the ‘mastermind’ behind the game. Earlier a participant herself, she is known to be responsible for introducing the 50 challenges which instruct the players to self-harm.

WHY THE NAME? Blue Whale name comes from the fact that blue whales occasionally beach themselves intentionally and die.

HOW IS IT PLAYED? An online administrator gives the player challenges over a period of 50 days. After completion of every task, the player is expected to share photo as proof for approval. The first few challenges are easy but the subsequent ones turn sinister, challenging you to hurt yourself. They are meant to condition you to ultimately commit suicide. The tasks are ‘adaptable’ and are tweaked by the curator as per the geographical location of the player.
Although there is no clear set of 50 challenges, given below is the list of the likely tasks that are given to the participant. These were shared by someone on Reddit. As said earlier, the task may vary for participants depending on the player’s geographical location. It could even change according to the player’s age and sex. To be honest, it could even depend on the whims of the administrator.

1. On your arm, carve ‘f57’ (name of death and suicide group in Russia) with a blade.
2. Wake up at 4:20 am and watch scary videos.
3. Cut your arm along with your veins (not deep), only three cuts.
4. Draw a whale on a piece of paper.
5. If you’re ready to ‘become a whale’, you write “yes” with the blade on your leg, if not, you have to cut yourself many times (as a punishment).
6. Task is in code.
7. On your arm, carve ‘f40’ (another Russian death and suicide group) with a blade.
8. Write in the status #I_am_Whale.
9. You should overcome your fear.
10. Get up at 4:20 am and go to the roof.
11. It is necessary to scratch out a whale on the hand (or make a drawing on the hand).
12. Watch scary videos the whole day.
13. Listen to music that they send to you.
14. Cut your lip.
15. Poke the needle arm.
16. Hurt yourself.
17. Go to the highest roof you can find and stand on the edge.
18. Go to a bridge and stand on the edge.
19. Climb on a crane or at least try.
20. Curators check if you are trustworthy.
21. Talk with another ‘whale’ (someone else who is also playing the same game) on Skype.
22. Sit down on the edge of a roof with your feet dangling.
23. Another task in a code.
24. Secret task.
25. Meet with a ‘whale’.
26. Curator tells you the date of your death and you must accept it.
27. Wake up at 4:20 am and go to any railroad in your area.
28. Do not talk with anyone.
29. Take an oath that you’re a whale.
30-49. Every day you wake up at 4:20 am, watch scary videos, listen to music that they send, make cuts on your body each day and talk to a ‘whale’.
50. Jump off a high roof and take your life.

WHO IS THE JUDGE? The admins control the challenges. People have tried to use photo-shopped images as proofs, but the perception is that they cannot be fooled. One reporter from a European Radio station tried it and was caught out and they stopped communicating with him.
HOW DO THEY FIND YOU? You cannot find the admin or download. The admins find you. They generally scour the internet and ferret out those who are depressed or have displayed other psychological traits that make them vulnerable, or ideal targets, to be contacted. These could be looking at target’s public profile, Instagram and other social posts, etc. The curator or admins also seek out people from death groups and suicide squads on VK.com aka Vkontakte, the largest online social media and network in Russia.
All efforts by us to locate the game generated no results.

WHY CAN’T YOU STOP MIDWAY? Theory is that once they admit you as a player, you have to accept a cookie and that gives them access to your entire data online. And this data is the lever they have to blackmail anyone who wants to back out. Cases abound of the admins blackmailing and cyber bullying such individuals into completing all tasks. They threaten to hurt their family or reveal all his personal data online.

WHY CAN’T THE ‘GAME’ BE BLOCKED? First up, it is far from a game. There is not a single person or unit who is managing it. As the inventors of the game have been put behind the bars, many wonder how the game is still spreading. It is simply because of the various mirror games that have now been created and are carried over by many curators who are spread far and wide. The police and law enforcement authorities worldwide are at their wits end trying to block access to the ‘game’
It is so scattered and decentralized that banning it is not possible. Tracking the IP addresses of the curators has also not yielded desirable results so far.

IS THE GAME KNOWN BY OTHER NAMES? Yes, there are several other names that are used. With the name Blue Whale getting blocked from across social media platforms, there are other names of the game that have originated. These names include ‘A Silent House’, ‘A Sea of Whales’, ‘Wake Me Up At 4.20 am’.
SIGNS TO LOOK OUT FOR: Celebrity psychologist Seema Hingorrany is getting multiple queries from parents. “They are scared, especially parents who are getting their kids treated for ADHD and video game addiction.” Below are signs that parents can keep an eye on:

– A recent tendency in the child to stay aloof
– Any changes in diet or sleep pattern of child
– Any cuts or wounds on the body
– Staying up at night around 4:20 am

The children who may be more prone to Blue Whale challenge are those who may talk about running away from home or about death in general.

GUILT by Sana Adhikari

Additional information

Am I guilty?
” I am ”

Guilt, the word, you never knew of
Guilt, the feeling, you were decided not to have

But when you know you’re wrong,
though being right
& when the only time, when tears,
roll down for your own deed,
Yes there,
Just that is the place,
where Mr. Guilt lives.

Guilt is nothing like regret
Guilt is strong, not weak
Guilt makes you hate yourself
Guilt makes you hate your deed.

& even if you stop right there
Guilt still lives!
Some night it eats you up
& other days, you learn to live with guilt.

I don’t know of you,
Not do I know a bit of me
All I know is of guilt,
The guilt that comes every night to home,
The guilt that warms me so soon,
The guilt that rolls on my cheeks
The guilt that loves me so much, It’s sick!

& those nights I love it back
Asking my love,
For why so much of love to me?

‘Cause guilt loves me for reasons I don’t know
& I, then again realize,
How true they say,
“Love Haunts You Alive”

Money cannot buy health, money cannot buy time, money cannot buy life.

This picture was taken in the Harbin Provincial Hospital. A cancer patient carrying a bag full of money asked the doctor to save her life and she has plenty of money to pay him. But the doctor said he cannot do anything as her cancer is in the final stage.

She was so angry and frustrated that she threw the money across the hospital’s entire corridor. Shouting “what`s the use of having the money” “what is the use of having the money.”

“Money cannot buy health, money cannot buy time, money cannot buy life.” It makes great sense to maintain good health while we have time and money.

TRUE LOVE: FIRST OR SECOND ?

Additional information

Love! What is love?

For me love is to unconditionally accept someone whether they have too many flaws or not and committing to be there with someone through thick and thin till the end. Love says ” I’ve seen the ugliest parts of you and I’m staying.” To love someone with the same amount of love you give to yourself and never complaining about their flaws or mistakes and still loving them the same way. It is sharing everything with them. Its basically like whats mine is yours and what’s your is mine. How cute. But sometimes this can show one many different shades of love either beautiful or ugly.

We all have experienced our first love as well as second right. But some of us are still remaining to experience the second. Well lucky are them till the time being their heart doesn’t get broken. But who says second love cannot make you feel like first love. Sometimes we even get stuck between a situation like “I don’t want to feel that type of hurt again but I want to feel that type of love again.” I am with you people and I know for many of us its hard to move on but life is all about ups and downs and facing these situations so that the next time you face it you come out being the beautiful new girl after all the pain you went through. It teaches us a lot and somehow I feel maybe its a lesson for you that from next time on wards you be acting much more stronger, braver, patient and calm and understanding who deserves that position in your life and who doesn’t. Be proud of yourself and let this world seek from you.

Talking about your very first love, for you it feels magic in ecstasy. You feel that this is the final destination and you are landing nowhere else. You stay so dedicated to that person. You feel as if you can live your life dedicating your whole years to him. My dear its so damn beautiful for you isn’t it. You don’t care whatever the world says and you are ready to face any obstacle that comes ahead of your relationship willing to fight through any thing that comes along the way. You don’t care the world judges you or not but you decide to stay focused to a single person. You are a beautiful individual lady! For you love has always been synonymous to him right! You don’t want to hide it from anyone, you want to end up with them only. You can tell them you whole life and you find them worth spending your life with. Even if the summer will fade out they will always smell like a sunshine in your life.

But do you think that true love is the first love? I don’t think so.You truly love someone when you give them your 100 percent and receive the same in return what if they aren’t showing up the same love as you are then? Is is okay for you that you gave all you had but you received back nothing in return. You will feel like an emotional fool trapped till their desires are fulfilled and made fun of your love later on. The worst thing they could do to you is to convince you that they love you and then suddenly disappear and not tell you why they left. Because of one person you are scared to love again thinking that the other person will also leave you the same way. You’ve changed and you are more like a guarded person. Your mindset is different now. You are not the same person as you were before because of that one person.

Then after all the heartbreaks you recover hardly and then after all this you come out growing up so beautifully. Then you realize that they were not worth it. Now after learning so much from those worst experiences you’ll make sure that you will now end up with someone who knows all of it and still loves you. Then comes your second love who acts as a healer in your life, creating more beautiful lady than you were before. But its very hard to find a second love because you aren’t yet over the love and respect you had for them. Maybe you are over with them but my dear you will still take time to recover the amount of passion and dedication and all the love and respect you had for them. And its okay you are fighting for yourself not for someone else who never deserved all of it. But then actually your second love brings back that love you had left and gone away telling you that he deserves it more than anyone else and then you decide to finally move on and wallah! you have moved on. You realize this when the love and respect you had for someone, leaving it away you decide to take it back and promise yourself that ” this isn’t worth losing what I have” I hope you will start loving your second love with the same amount of passion and respect as you loved earlier. When every love song you hear now remind you of him instead of them who didn’t dared to love as you did.
Sometimes its takes someone to hurt you in order for you to learn how to truly appreciate someone who makes you understand how life will be more beautiful after such a harsh winter.

Yes, its had never been easy for you to walk away especially after you have invested so much of yourself into making it work. Sad it didn’t work out. I want you to know that by the time you finally decided to leave you are away from them who didn’t thought it was their equal duty. And right now you just need to be on your own.

The Mysterious Caves of Mustang, Nepal

Additional information

The Kingdom of Mustang, bordering the Tibetan plateau, is one of the most remote and isolated region of Nepalese Himalaya. Once an independent Buddhist kingdom, Mustang was annexed by Nepal at the end of the 18th century, but retained its status as a separate principality until the 1950’s when the area was more closely consolidated into Nepal. Because of its sensitive border location, Mustang was off-limits to foreigners until 1992. The relative isolation of the region from the outside world has helped Mustang preserve its ancient culture which is more closely tied to Tibet than to Nepal.

The landscape is also unlike anything that is to be found anywhere else in Nepal —deep gorges carved by the Kali Gandaki River, and strangely sculptured rock formations. The cliffs’ face are pitted with an estimated 10,000 ancient cave dwellings, some of which are perched more than 150 feet above the valley floor. No one knows who dug them, or how people even scaled the near vertical rock face to access them. Some of the caves appear almost impossible to reach even to experienced climbers.

Most of the caves are now empty, but others show signs of domestic habitation —hearths, grain-storage bins, and sleeping spaces. Some caves were apparently used as burial chambers. The several dozen bodies that were found in these caves were all more than 2,000 years old. They lay on wooden beds and decorated with copper jewelry and glass beads.

In other caves, skeletons dating from the 3rd to the 8th centuries, before Buddhism came to Mustang, had cut marks on the bones that may have been inflicted during the practice of sky burial, where the body’s flesh is sliced into small pieces and left to be eaten by vultures. Sky burial is still practiced in many remote regions in the Himalaya.

Archeologists believe that the caves in Mustang were used in three general periods. They were first used some 3,000 years ago as burial chambers. Then around 1,000 years ago, they became primarily living quarters, perhaps to escape battles and intruders into the valley. Finally, by the 1400s, most people had moved into traditional villages and the caves became places of meditation. Some of these caves were turned into monasteries such as the Luri Gompa, the Chungsi Cave monastery and the Nyiphuk Cave Monastery, all of which were built around and inside the caves.

Luri Gompa is one of the most famous in Mustang. The monastery is set on a ledge, at least a hundred meter high from the ground, in one of the many natural pillar like sandstone structures. A winding footpath climbs all the way from the bottom of the valley to a single entrance door that leads into two interconnecting chambers. The outer chamber contains a shrine, while the inner chamber —the main treasure of Luri Gompa— is beautifully decorated with a series of paintings depicting Indian Mahasiddhas — saints who were said to have achieved siddhi, or extraordinary powers by meditation. No documentation pertaining to this mysterious gompa or monastery has been found, but the wall paintings appear to be have been made in the 14th century or even earlier.

What type of college is SIT, Tumkur?

Additional information

SIT, Tumkur is one of the oldest and finest colleges in the state. until early 2000 its one of those colleges where very good CET rank holders used to join and was preferred after RV,BMSCE, PES,MSRIT and SJCE. Because of Bangalore’s exponential growth and company proximity many colleges opened up overnight and students without even proper researching started to join these new colleges. Please dont compare SIT/NIE to CMRIT or BMSIT or SJBIT. SIT is a 50+ year old institute and no one had even heard of these new colleges just a few years of back. Other colleges have an edge over SIT or NIE just because they are in Bangalore. When it comes to quality of education, lush green campus and good placement record these two colleges are far better.

What do you prefer BCA of three years or BE Computer (CS)/ Btech of 4 years?

Additional information

Based on my personal experience I would recommend you not to pursue BCA.

I am a BCA graduate (Bangalore University Gold medalist) with 4 yrs of experience in Software Industry.Though I am at par with BE graduates in terms of pay, designation citing a few instances which prove degrees matter

Recently I had applied for MS from Georgia Tech University ( through Udacity) and my application was rejected since minimum criteria is a 4 year degree
Applied to a famous product based company through referral and was not even considered for interview.(Apparently min criteria is BE/Btech again)
One of my colleague was given preference for onsite opportunity since he was a BE graduate.
If you are keen on pursuing BCA,I would suggest you to complete higher studies before entering IT industry.

All the best ! Cheers!

If I Were A Boy – Sana Adhikari Chhetri

Additional information

At some stage, every girl feels this I guess
Or may be I’m being too poetic, for I do!

You people out there,
I don’t care if man or woman
Yes you!
Oh please don’t stare at my bra-strap
Rather tell what dress suits me better
Don’t search for cleavage
For rather my smile looks better
Don’t judge me by the length of cloth I put on
Or better,
Not by the words “so-out-of-way” in this piece lol!

If I were a boy,
& my beauty outside was so not a need,
Trust me i’d leave those heels
‘Cause my feet aches indeed

If being a girl,
Little things didn’t make me cry
I swear I won’t make-up
Just ’cause puffy eyes need to hide.

If only, me staying out late night,
Won’t be judging my dignity
I’d go out so fearless
‘Cause I love the twinkling city

If my every second was not asked to be detailed,
I could have found better, what pulled me in!

If freedom was mine, & security was always on time,
I would have gone alone to travel
To explore the mysterious world, I imagined as mine.

If I were a boy,
I could have been more,
Than a writer with this piece
More like a better man
Fierce in every bullshit!

If only being a girl, didn’t clip my wings,
I could have been a better me,
Than the man in my dreams.
Than the man in my dreams.

Ways of Memorizing Faster For Long Terms

Ways of Memorizing Faster For Long Terms

Everyone wish to learn and memorize things better and quickly but can’t unable to do so. But it’s not that hard. Stick with us for the simplest ways that will help you to memorize things faster and for long terms. Here are some few tips and trick explained in brief which will help for memorizing faster for long terms.

Creating a memory:

Our brain sends signals in a particular pattern associated with the event we’re experiencing and creates connections between our neurons, called synapses.

Consolidating the memory:

If we didn’t do anything further, that memory would fall right out of our heads again. Consolidation is the process of committing it to long-term memory so we can recall it later. A lot of this process happens while we’re sleeping, as our brains recreate that same pattern of brain activity to strengthen the synapses we created earlier.

Recalling the memory:

This is what most of us think of when we talk about memory, or especially memory loss. Recalling the memory is easier if it’s been strengthened over time, and each time we do so, we run through that same pattern of brain activity again, making it a little stronger.
Memory loss is a normal part of aging, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take action to slow it down a little. Let’s take a look at some of the ways research has found to keep our memories around as long as possible.

Health

    • Shake a leg: It gets your blood flowing and sharpens both concentration and recall.
    • Food for thought: Eat a balanced diet. A lack of protein can actually cause headaches. As well as eat a light lunch. Heavy lunches have a tendency to make people drowsy.

Reduce stress + depression.

Stress and depression may reduce the ability to recall information and thus inhibit learning. Sometimes, all you need to reduce depression is more white light and fewer refined foods.

Balance

    • Take a break: Taking a 5-15 minute break every hour during study sessions is more beneficial than non-stop study. It gives your mind time to relax and absorb information.
    • Change your focus: Sometimes there simply isn’t enough time to take a long break. If so, change the subject focus. Alternate between technical and non-technical subjects.
    • Take a bath or shower: Both activities loosen you up, making your mind more receptive to recognizing brilliant ideas.
    • Take a hike: Changing your perspective often relieves tension, thus freeing your creative mind. Taking a short walk around the neighborhood may help.

 Recall Techniques

    • Listen to music: Researchers have long shown that certain types of music are a great “key” for recalling memories. Information learned while listening to a particular song or collection can often be recalled simply by “playing” the songs mentally.
    • Speed read: Some people believe that speedreading causes you to miss vital information. The fact remains that efficient speedreading results in filtering out irrelevant information.

Visual Aids

    • Every picture tells a story: Draw or sketch whatever it is you are trying to achieve. Having a concrete goal in mind helps you progress towards that goal.
    • Learn symbolism and semiotics: Semiotics is the study of signs and symbols. Having an understanding of the symbols of a particular discipline aids in learning, and also allows you to record information more efficiently.
    • Map your task flow: Learning often requires gaining knowledge in a specific sequence. Organizing your thoughts on what needs to be done is a powerful way to prepare yourself to complete tasks or learn new topics.

Verbal and Auditory Techniques

    • Stimulate ideas: Play rhyming games, utter nonsense words. These loosen you up, making you more receptive to learning.
    • Brainstorm with the group: This is a time-honored technique that combines verbal activity, writing, and collaboration. (One person can brainstorm, but it’s more effective in a group.) It’s fruitful if you remember some simple rules:  Firstly, don’t shut anyone’s idea out. Secondly, don’t “edit” in progress; just record all ideas first, then dissect them later. Participating in brainstorming helps assess what you already know about something, and what you didn’t know.
    • Learn by osmosis: Got an iPod? Record a few of your own podcasts, upload them to your iPod and sleep on it. Literally. Put it under your pillow and playback language lessons or whatever.
    • Laugh: Laughing relaxes the body. A relaxed body is more receptive to new ideas.

Kinesthetic Techniques

    • Write, don’t type: While typing your notes into the computer is great for posterity, writing by hand stimulates ideas. The simple act of holding and using a pen or pencil massages acupuncture points in the hand, which in turn stimulates ideas and helps in memorizing quickly.
    • Organize: Use sticky colored tabs to divide up a notebook or journal. They are a great way to partition ideas for easy referral.
    • Use post-it notes: Post-it notes provide a helpful way to record your thoughts about passages in books without defacing them with ink or pencil marks.

Self-Motivation Techniques

    • Give yourself credit: If you learn to focus your mind on what results you want to achieve, you’ll recognize the good ideas. Your mind will become a filter for them, which will motivate you to learn more.
    • Motivate yourself: Why do you want to learn something? What do want to achieve through learning?
    • Set a goal: “Whatever the mind of man can conceive, it can achieve.” It’s an amazing phenomenon in goal achievement. Prepare yourself by whatever means necessary, and hurdles will seem surmountable. Anyone who has experienced this phenomenon understands its validity.
    • Think Positive: There’s no point in setting learning goals for yourself if you don’t have any faith in your ability to learn.
    • Prepare yourself for learning: In order to successfully achieving goals. This is especially important if you are an adult, as you’ll probably have many distractions surrounding your daily life. Implement ways to reduce distractions, at least for a few hours at a time, else learning will become a frustrating experience.

Supplemental Techniques

    • Read as much as you can: Get a breadth of topics as well as depth.
    • Motivate yourself: Why do you want to learn something? What do want to achieve through learning? This might helps you in memorizing quickly about what you learn.
    • Learn what you know and what you don’t: Many people might say, “I’m dumb,” or “I don’t know anything about that.” The fact is, many people are wholly unaware of what they already know about a topic. Similarly if you want to learn about a topic, you need to determine what you already know, figure out what you don’t know, and then learn the latter.
    • Be engaged: Surprise. Sometimes students are bored because they know more than is being taught, maybe even more than a teacher. Students should discuss with a teacher if they feel that the material being covered is not challenging. Also, consider asking for additional materials.
    • Teach yourself: Teachers cannot always change their curricula. If you’re not being challenged, challenge yourself. Although your lecturer didn’t cover a topic, you should learn it on your own. Don’t wait for someone to teach you. Lectures are most effective when you’ve pre-introduced yourself to concepts and helps in memorizing quickly.
    • Collaborate: If studying by yourself isn’t working, maybe a study group will help.
    • Do unto others: teach something: The best way to learn something better is to teach it to someone else. It forces you to learn if you are motivated enough to share your knowledge.
    • Write about it: An effective way to “teach” something and memorizing faster is to create an FAQ or a wiki containing everything you know about a topic or blog about the topic.
    • Learn the right things first: Learn the basics. Case in point: a frustrating way to learn a new language is to learn grammar and spelling and sentence constructs first. This is not the way a baby learns a language, and there’s no reason why an adult or young adult has to start differently, despite “expert” opinion. Try for yourself and see the difference.
    • Plan your learning: If you have a long-term plan to learn something “There are two paths you can go by.” You can take a haphazard approach to learn, or you can put in a bit of planning and find an optimum path. Plan your time and balance your learning and living.

In conclusion try implementing all this thing and this will surely helps you in memorizing things faster efficiently and quickly.

Story of Sumana Shrestha

Additional information

This is a story of a magazine born in 1989, as it was told to me in my dream:)

“I was born hot off in a press, packed quickly by the mail folks in National Geographic and sent over to Kumar in India. This was in 1989. I can feel his excitement when he opened that mail and read each page. He kept me neatly tucked in his study shelf for a long time. Occasionally he would pick me up time and again, but put me back in the same place, same neat order. Soon I found myself in a lot of company. Seemed like he loved national geographic editions. They moved around quite a bit around the world, but they always made sure where ever I was, I was dry and bugs free and absolutely no wrinkles what so ever. I loved it! I wonder if my multitude of twins were similarly lucky.

One day I found Kumar searching hi and low to gather each edition he ever owned. I found myself making way to Bangalore. Apparently to कबिन मलेकू’s place. I was surprised with all the moves, but I knew Kumar would always take care of me. I discovered it was 2017 at Kabin’s place sitting next to his computer. He stayed up quite late counting each of us, and tapping away at his computer. Then I got packed again, I almost had an anxiety attack. Kumar wasn’t around and I was being sent again somewhere. It felt a bit sketchy being around humans I didn’t recognize. It was a smooth train ride, and then a very bumpy road. It was so tortuous, I almost threw up many times.

I didn’t know much of what was going on, but next time I saw the light, I heard very excited voices. Someone was looking at my dates and exclaiming, “Oh my god it is from 1989!!!” and I kept going – “Yup, I am prob as old as you are” but where the heck was I, I had no idea.

Then I changed few more hands, but I had gotten used to at this point, everyone was treating me with same love Kumar had shown me 28 years ago. I peeked out and saw there were bunch of young kids running towards us – well 140 of us to be very precise. I had never seen so many excited young humans in my life.

Now I call this incredible place called Nawa Asha Griha, my home. My pages get turned almost everyday, and I get to share my trove of knowledge and beautiful pictures with them. Apparently I have traveled over 2500 kilometers to be in Nepal.

Thank you Kumar for finding me a perfect home. Nicole Wick Thakuri for setting up this beautiful place full of young people ready to learn, @kabin, @Dhirendra and your friends in Bangalore for making that long trip safe for me and so many of my friends!”
